This is the Android client to play board games with other people at Boardspace.net.
Boardspace hosts over 70 games, mostly 2-player abstract strategy games, but also some multi-player and Euro games.All games are played in real time, not turn at a time.
Games canbe suspended, but it is expected that you will play complete games inone sitting, as you would when playing another person face-to-face.Our most popular games are Hive and Euphoria.Tablet sized screens are recommended.
Devices with at least 1G of memory are recommended.The client is fully cross-platform; using your Android, you can play other people who are usingIOS, Macs, or PCs.The site, and the app, are completely free, have no advertising or in-app purchases.

"Worth 1 star, but a 2 since the game list introduced me to some obscure games. The problem with this app is it's about as user friendly and cryptic as an Indiana Jones temple. Others complained about no play button. Well the games wont start with "player1" (and 2)... Oh no, you have to "name the players" first in a tiny window on the bottom to reveal a hidden start game button... Now i can play? Nope. The site talks of robots / AI but I cant find a way to play a computer, ugly interface too."

"It seems like a good app, but in my case I couldn't figure out how to start a game. I was hoping to see a start button or something. Probably something obvious I'm overlooking. I don't want to take points off because I didn't understand something - a common occurrence. I had to squint to see the text, but again, no point deduction from old guy with failing eyesight. Using Samsung S21 ultra."
